A typical inspection lasts 2-3 hours, though it could take longer depending on the size of the home and the complexity of any issues found. You do not have to be present for the entire inspection.
However, I encourage you to join me for a walk-thru at the end of the inspection. This will allow me to explain my findings, describe my process, point out important maintenance items, and answer all of your questions.
After the inspection, I will compile my findings in an easy-to-read digital report. It will include detailed descriptions and high-resolution digital photos of any issues discovered. The notes will specify whether issues are major and need to be addressed, or if an issue is something minor. If it’s minor, I will not make it seem bigger than it is.
The report will be emailed to you within 36 hours of the inspection. My job isn’t finished until you understand everything in it.
